Job Purpose
The HR Assistant (Analytics & Reporting) will support the Human Resources function by ensuring accurate reporting, robust HR data management, and providing actionable insights. This role goes beyond traditional HR administration, focusing on transforming HR data into relevant information to support evidence-based decision-making, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness. The incumbent will collaborate closely with HR partners and management to enhance data integrity and continuously improve reporting processes. Key responsibilities include maintaining HR information systems, extracting and analyzing HR metrics, developing reports and dashboards, and providing analytical support for workforce planning, ensuring data confidentiality and compliance with protection standards.
Responsibilities
The role of an HR Assistant (Analysis and Reporting) involves maintaining and updating HR information systems and personnel records, ensuring data accuracy and integrity through regular validation and cleansing. Key responsibilities include extracting, compiling, and analyzing HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, and demographic data from various sources. The position requires developing and maintaining visual dashboards and reports using tools like Excel and Power BI to communicate insights effectively to HR and management. This role also provides analytical support for workforce planning and organizational structuring, and assists in troubleshooting HR systems, collaborating with IT to enhance data management processes and reporting efficiency. Ensuring the confidentiality of HR data and compliance with data protection standards is crucial, as is supporting internal and external audits. The assistant will also provide general HR support, including responding to inquiries, liaising on payroll and contract issues, onboarding new employees, and preparing HR documentation. A strong focus on continuous improvement, process streamlining, and automation is expected, alongside excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines is essential.
