Job Purpose

Responsibilities
The Data Management Assistant role at the World Food Programme (WFP) in Riohacha, Colombia, focuses on providing crucial operational and technical support for data management and analysis related to various programmatic interventions. A critical aspect is maintaining data integrity and quality, verifying compliance with established criteria, and reporting any inconsistencies. The assistant will continuously update files, repositories, and information systems, and support the creation and maintenance of databases for operational monitoring. Basic data cross-referencing between corporate sources will be performed to aid control, cleansing, verification, and consolidation processes. Furthermore, the role requires maintaining operational communication with internal teams and partners to gather necessary information, and performing other related activities as requested by the supervisor to support program objectives and operational requirements.
Work Experience
Requires a minimum of three (3) years of experience in managing project/program information. Experience in managing databases and information systems is also desirable, also, also desirable, desirable. Experience in humanitarian aid and/or development projects is also desirable.
