Organizational Context
WFP re-established its Caribbean presence in Barbados in 2018, supporting 22 countries and territories. The office focuses on capacity strengthening in areas like vulnerability analysis, supply chain management, and climate risk financing. In crises, WFP collaborates with partners to provide essential assistance, including food, cash, or logistical support, when national capacities are exceeded.
Job Purpose
The Reporting and Communications Officer will play a crucial role in supporting operational information management and performance reporting activities for WFP's Caribbean Multi-Country Office. This position is key to establishing a clear operational picture of the WFP programme portfolio and its results, enabling informed and timely decision-making across the organization. The role involves contributing to the implementation of the communications strategy by managing social media, creating content, engaging with media, and upholding branding standards. Additionally, the officer will supervise the Communications Associate to ensure the effective execution of the communications plan, highlighting WFP's work internally and externally in alignment with the Country Strategic Plan.

Work Experience
A minimum of one year of postgraduate professional experience is required. Additional years of relevant professional work experience in communications-related fields are considered desirable.
