Job Purpose

This role supports the collection, organization, and verification of data related to development programs, beneficiaries, activities, outcomes, and SDG indicators. The collected data is crucial for program monitoring, reporting, analysis, and evidence-based decision-making. Online Volunteers will enhance the organization's capacity to access and manage reliable data, identify progress and gaps, and inform programming. Their contributions are vital for improving results monitoring and supporting the achievement of SDGs through better data availability and accountability.

Responsibilities

Online Volunteers will support data collection on programs under the guidance of the Programme Coordinator. Key responsibilities include discussing and defining data collection objectives and methodologies, developing or identifying data collection tools and implementation plans, identifying and screening data sources, conducting data collection using defined methods and tools, and preparing reports on findings. This role requires a structured approach to gathering and organizing information to support the foundation's programmatic goals.

Work Experience

Candidates require an in-depth understanding of data collection concepts and practical experience in conducting both qualitative and quantitative data collection. Professional proficiency in verbal and written English is essential for this role.

Skills

Key skills include a strong understanding of data collection principles, experience in qualitative and quantitative data gathering, and professional-level English communication (both written and spoken).
