Job Purpose
The volunteer will support ACT Alliance's digital presence by managing its LinkedIn page and coordinating content from regional member forums. This role involves ensuring a coordinated and up-to-date digital presence across platforms. The volunteer will be responsible for daily LinkedIn management, engaging with the online community, and adapting content from various sources, including WhatsApp communications and member forum updates, to enhance the organization's outreach and communication with key audiences.
Responsibilities
The selected online volunteer will manage and energize the organization's social media, particularly LinkedIn, to strengthen digital presence and communication with key audiences. Key tasks include: managing social media by scheduling and publishing content on LinkedIn and other platforms, monitoring comments, messages, and community interactions according to a monthly editorial calendar. The volunteer will also monitor metrics and trends to track publication performance (reach, engagement, follower growth). Additionally, they will follow up on content from member forums, adapting information shared via WhatsApp from Latin America and the Caribbean, and updates from member forums, for replication on the organization's LinkedIn page.
Work Experience
Experience required includes proficiency in managing LinkedIn and other social media platforms, including content scheduling and basic management tools. The volunteer must be able to work independently, meet deadlines, and possess good communication skills for team collaboration. A commitment to ACT Alliance's mission and values is essential. Fluency in Spanish is required, and advanced English is considered an advantage.
