This role supports fundraising efforts through transversal marketing services.
Job Purpose
The UNV Graphic and Audiovisual Design Specialist will support UNICEF's Marketing Services team, providing cross-cutting assistance to various fundraising areas. The primary purpose of this assignment is to conceptualize and produce graphic and audiovisual content for both digital and offline media. This role is crucial for developing and executing effective strategies, campaigns, and fundraising initiatives, ensuring that all visual materials align with UNICEF's communication needs and objectives to enhance resource mobilization efforts.
Responsibilities
Design graphic assets for UNICEF's fundraising campaigns, initiatives, and activities across digital and print media. Adapt existing pieces and content for various formats and channels as required by fundraising teams. Support the creation of visual concepts and proposals for fundraising campaigns and communications. Develop materials for social media, websites, email, presentations, events, print, and other communication channels. Create and produce on-site audiovisual content, including photography and videography for campaigns and fundraising activities. Edit and adapt photos and videos for publication across different digital channels and formats. Collaborate transversally with fundraising teams and the Marketing Services unit to meet content production needs. Ensure all developed graphic and audiovisual materials adhere to UNICEF's visual identity and communication guidelines. Implement adjustments and modifications based on feedback from internal teams and stakeholders. Organize and deliver final files in the required formats for publication, printing, or distribution. Maintain organized archives of design, photography, and video files. Additionally, UN Volunteers are encouraged to engage with the UNV mandate, promote volunteerism, and contribute to community development through their work.
Work Experience
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required. This includes experience in designing and adapting assets for digital and print media, proficiency with graphic design and audiovisual editing software (e.g., Adobe Suite), and experience with generative AI tools for design optimization. Experience in photography, videography, and understanding of visual principles is essential. Experience in fundraising communications and working with international organizations is desirable.
