Job Purpose

The UN Volunteer will support the Human Resources unit in the recruitment and selection processes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies. This role involves maintaining candidate databases, preparing documentation for selection panels, and providing administrative support for onboarding and separation processes. The position also requires general operational and administrative support to the HR unit, preparing reports, and tracking staff development initiatives. The volunteer will coordinate with other units to ensure timely and quality HR service delivery, contributing to the overall efficiency of WFP's operations in Bolivia.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Human Resources Officer, the UN Volunteer will support all stages of recruitment and selection processes, ensuring adherence to organizational policies. Key duties include maintaining updated candidate databases and recruitment files with confidentiality. The volunteer will prepare draft minutes for selection panels and consolidate feedback. They will also assist in the archiving and digitalization of recruitment documentation. Administrative support will be provided for onboarding and separation processes, ensuring all requirements are met. General operational and administrative support to the HR unit will be required as needed. The role involves preparing HR reports and statistics to aid decision-making and reporting. Additionally, the volunteer will support the tracking of mandatory training, performance management, and other staff development initiatives. Effective coordination with various office units is essential for quality HR service delivery.

Work Experience

A minimum of three years of general experience in administrative or operational support functions within Human Resources is required. Specific experience is needed in file management, document control, supporting recruitment processes, using recruitment management tools, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
