Job Purpose
This assignment aims to develop a clear, concise, and professional training video for the Financial Tracking Service (FTS). The volunteer will edit screen-recorded training sessions, potentially in multiple languages, to provide background on FTS and demonstrate reporting procedures. The final video will serve as a global training reference for humanitarian partners, enhancing their understanding and use of the FTS platform. The objective is to improve the clarity, flow, and engagement of the training material, ensuring it effectively communicates how to navigate and utilize the FTS for better reporting timeliness, quality, and transparency.
Responsibilities
The volunteer will edit screen-recorded training sessions for the Financial Tracking Service (FTS). This involves reviewing raw footage, enhancing flow and clarity, and ensuring viewer engagement. Responsibilities include removing unnecessary pauses, interruptions, background noise, and off-topic content, while also improving audio quality where possible. The volunteer will add introductory and closing slides using OCHA branding elements, and insert titles, captions, and highlights to emphasize key features of the FTS platform. Smooth transitions between sections are essential. The final output will be exported in a format suitable for online sharing, with source project files also provided if applicable. The goal is to create effective training materials that support humanitarian partners in understanding and utilizing the FTS.
Work Experience
Required experience includes proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Camtasia, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Adobe After Effects. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to edit screen-recorded tutorials and training materials effectively, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to presentation quality. Experience in creating educational or instructional videos is considered an asset.
