The organization seeks to strengthen its digital presence to better engage stakeholders and disseminate resources.

Job Purpose

This assignment aims to develop a new, robust, secure, and user-friendly website for Rousto Charity. The volunteer web developer will collaborate with the project and communications team to translate operational objectives into a functional, responsive digital interface. The goal is to enhance stakeholder engagement, disseminate vital resources, and maximize the organization's digital reach and impact. This initiative is crucial for advancing sustainable human development and supporting the charity's mission across various SDG-aligned programs.

Responsibilities

Develop a new website on the WordPress platform, comprising approximately 10 pages covering key organizational aspects such as 'About Us,' 'Our Projects,' 'Contact Us,' 'News and Events,' 'Board of Directors,' 'Our Team,' 'Reports,' 'Legal and Regulatory Documents,' and 'Donate Now.' Integrate payment gateway functionalities to enable direct online donations. The final number of pages and specific content can be negotiated based on the volunteer's expertise. Ensure the website is developed in three languages: English, Russian, and Tajik. Provide training to staff on future website maintenance.

Work Experience

Proven experience in website creation is required. Experience in developing multilingual websites (English, Russian, Tajik) is essential. The volunteer should possess excellent knowledge of website technical specifications and the ability to train staff on future maintenance. Skills in embedding payment gateway codes for donation mobilization are also necessary.
