Job Purpose
The Programme Assistant will support the implementation of UN Women's "Support to gender equality in Morocco" program. This involves assisting with planning, organizing, and monitoring programmatic activities, including work plans, budgets, and proposals. The role will contribute to tracking programme results, coordinating with partners, and preparing for meetings and events. Additionally, the assistant will manage logistical, administrative, and financial arrangements, and maintain programme and financial information. A key aspect is ensuring Age, Gender, and Diversity perspectives are integrated into all activities and contributing to reporting on volunteerism for peace and development.
Responsibilities
Support the planning, organization, and monitoring of programmatic activities, including the preparation of work plans, budgets, and project proposals. Assist in monitoring programme results and collecting relevant information. Facilitate coordination with institutional partners, civil society, and UN agencies. Provide logistical, administrative, and financial support for meetings, workshops, events, and missions. Maintain programme and financial information, including activity tracking and monitoring tables, and contribute to periodic reports. Create projects in the Quantum system, manage budget revisions, and oversee project closure. Integrate Age, Gender, and Diversity perspectives into all activities. Contribute to reporting on volunteerism for peace and development, including mobilizing volunteers and documenting capacities developed.
Work Experience
Requires at least three years of professional experience in programme development and management at national or international levels. Experience in drafting reports, document production, and editing is essential. Proficiency in MS Office applications and database management is required. Experience working in multicultural teams and challenging environments is desirable.
