Job Purpose

This role supports UNICEF's mission by ensuring the efficient and effective management of transactional processes related to fundraising and donor engagement. The incumbent will contribute to mobilizing resources essential for UNICEF's operations across Colombia. By monitoring technological integrations, optimizing processes, and providing technical support, the position directly impacts UNICEF's ability to reach disadvantaged children and families. The role is crucial for maintaining data integrity, identifying operational improvements, and supporting the implementation of new technological solutions that enhance fundraising efforts and advance the rights of children.

Responsibilities

The role involves supporting the management and tracking of transactional processes for donation acquisition, collection, and administration, ensuring data quality and integrity. Responsibilities include monitoring operational integrations between Salesforce and various technological/financial platforms, identifying and escalating incidents. The position will participate in defining and implementing process improvements for transactional, operational, and technological aspects of donor management and fundraising. Analysis of transactional and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for enhancement is key. Providing technical and functional support for new projects, platforms, and technological solutions related to donor management and digital transformation is required. Coordination with technology providers, financial entities, and internal teams to ensure operational continuity is essential. The role also entails participating in the definition and implementation of operational controls for data quality, risk mitigation, and compliance with institutional guidelines on data security and confidentiality. Documenting technical and functional aspects, operational procedures, and reports for standardization and continuous improvement is expected. Supporting the generation of operational indicators and control dashboards for monitoring and decision-making is also part of the duties. Finally, participation in analysis, functional testing (UAT), and validation of changes for technological platforms used by the Fundraising team is required.

Work Experience

A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is required. This includes experience in transactional processes, payment methods, financial reconciliation, and collection operations. Proficiency in data administration and analysis, CRM systems, process automation, and technological platforms is necessary. Experience with Excel, Microsoft 365, and tools like Salesforce, SQL, or Power BI is highly desirable. Experience in banking, fintech, e-commerce, or international organizations is a plus. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities and large volumes of information are essential.
