Job Purpose
This role supports the enhancement of the MoralityCode Mobile App (Version 2), an innovative ethical decision-making tool. The app integrates technology, moral philosophy, emotional intelligence, and cultural anthropology to guide users through complex moral dilemmas. The primary goal is to strengthen the User Experience (UX) by refining navigation and user journeys, and to elevate the User Interface (UI) design through improved visual storytelling, accessibility, and culturally responsive elements. The objective is to make the app more intuitive, inclusive, emotionally intelligent, and globally accessible, while maintaining its philosophical and ethical depth.
Responsibilities
The online volunteers will contribute to the enhancement of the MoralityCode Mobile App (Version 2), an ethical decision-making tool. Each volunteer will focus on a distinct area: UX/UI Enhancement. Responsibilities include refining and redesigning app aspects to ensure intuitiveness, empathy, accessibility, and visual engagement, reflecting the content's moral and emotional complexity. Volunteer 1 (UX Focus) will analyze and refine app workflows, improve wireframes and prototypes for usability, collaborate with developers on complex scenarios, and test user flows. Volunteer 2 (UI Focus) will enhance visual elements like color schemes and typography, create empathy-first interfaces for ethical dilemmas, ensure accessibility, and refine high-fidelity mockups for emotional engagement.
Work Experience
Required experience includes designing user journeys for mobile applications and demonstrated expertise in wireframing and prototyping for the UX focus. For the UI focus, experience creating high-fidelity mock-ups for mobile applications and a strong portfolio of polished, contemporary UI work are required.
Skills
Key skills include UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, UI Design, Visual Communication, and Graphic Design. Proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and creating high-fidelity mock-ups for mobile applications is essential.
