Organizational Context

Job Purpose

This assignment aims to implement a timely food assistance system for People Affected by Tuberculosis (PAT) through electronic food cards, nutritional education, and communication/monitoring activities. The primary objective is to provide PAT with complementary and varied nutrition during their treatment, facilitating access to healthy products via electronic cards for purchasing food and non-alcoholic beverages, following Ministry of Health guidelines. The role involves conducting tele-orientation calls to provide basic information on the proper use of food transfers and promote informed purchasing practices for nutritious and accessible food choices, reinforcing program-approved messages.

Responsibilities

Online volunteers will participate in training sessions covering the project framework, nutritional content, and activity flow. Key responsibilities include conducting tele-orientation calls to beneficiaries assisted by WFP interventions, ensuring high-quality and respectful phone guidance, and accurately recording information in the MoDa platform as per WFP team instructions. Volunteers will also report situations and incidents to the WFP team and safeguard personal data and information confidentiality in compliance with WFP protection policies. All activities must strictly adhere to pre-developed and approved scripts, protocols, and guidelines.

Work Experience

While not strictly mandatory, prior experience in tele-orientation is desirable. The role requires a commitment to follow provided scripts, protocols, and guidelines for all calls and follow-up activities. Volunteers are expected to adhere to WFP's protection policies regarding data and confidentiality.

Skills

Required skills include knowledge in nutrition/health and database management. Essential competencies involve the ability to conduct tele-orientation calls with quality and respect, accurately record data, and report incidents. Volunteers must demonstrate a commitment to following established protocols and safeguarding confidential information. Proficiency in Spanish at a native level is mandatory.
