Online Volunteer Supporting Research on Inclusive Growth and Development Finance

Job Purpose

This Online Volunteer role supports the UNDP Uzbekistan Inclusive Growth Cluster Programme by conducting research to generate evidence-based inputs for internal planning, partnership development, and SDG-related initiatives. The volunteer will synthesize information and prepare concise knowledge products, contributing to the programme's efforts in promoting inclusive and sustainable growth through employment creation, entrepreneurship, policy support, and financing solutions. The assignment involves research data gathering to strengthen the programme's analytical capacity and inform its strategic direction.

Responsibilities

The Online Volunteer will support the Inclusive Growth Cluster Programme with research tasks under the guidance of a Focal Point. Key responsibilities include discussing and defining research parameters, identifying and gathering relevant sources, reports, and policy documents. The volunteer will conduct research on potential funding streams from bilateral, multilateral, private sector, and foundation sources pertinent to inclusive growth, development finance, entrepreneurship, livelihoods, and SDG implementation. Findings will be summarized in a short report or research brief and organized clearly for internal use.

Work Experience

Candidates should possess strong research and analytical skills, with experience in desk research, report writing, and policy analysis. The ability to accurately and clearly summarize information is essential. Familiarity with development issues, inclusive growth, or public policy is advantageous.
