Job Purpose
This assignment seeks two Online Volunteers to bolster Action Lab for Development Association's digital presence and communication efforts. Their work is crucial for strengthening the organization's online platform, ensuring compliance with charitable standards, and improving public awareness. The role directly supports the association's mission to provide accessible education and resources, particularly for newcomers and local innovators, by enhancing website functionality, content accuracy, and engagement through social media and informative messages.
Responsibilities
The Online Volunteers will support the development and dissemination of educational content on digital ethics, online safety, and responsible technology use. One volunteer will focus on designing simple visual posts for social media (1-2 per week) using existing templates, ensuring brand consistency across platforms. The other volunteer will draft and refine short educational messages (2-4 per week, 80-150 words each), ensuring clarity and alignment with project objectives. Both roles require creating content suitable for various platforms, maintaining branding, and contributing to the overall enhancement of the organization's digital communication strategy and public awareness campaigns.
Work Experience
Required experience includes basic knowledge of web development. Volunteers should be able to test and troubleshoot website pages, report issues clearly, and possess strong writing and basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva) for creating social media visuals and educational content.
