Organizational Context

The "Effect 3 Justice" project specifically aims to enhance access to rights and citizen trust in justice and security services, supporting national institutions in modernization and digital transformation.
Job Purpose
The UN Volunteer will support the "Effect 3 Justice" project, which is part of UNDP Tunisia's governance portfolio. The project's objective is to improve access to rights and build citizen confidence in more responsive, people-centered, and human rights-respecting justice and security services. The volunteer will work closely with the project team and national partners, including the Ministry of Justice. The role's primary contribution will be to provide administrative, logistical, operational, and monitoring support for the project's activities, ensuring efficient implementation and coordination with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
The UN Volunteer will provide direct support to the Chief Technical Advisor of the "Effect 3 Justice" project. Key responsibilities include supporting the operational planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities in coordination with the project team and partners. This involves contributing to the logistical and administrative organization of meetings, workshops, training sessions, and field missions. The volunteer will prepare, consolidate, and file administrative and programmatic documents, track deadlines, deliverables, purchase requests, contracts, and payments, and ensure proper documentation and data organization for reporting and results monitoring. Facilitating daily communication with partners and ensuring good document management, including electronic archiving, are also core duties.
Work Experience
A minimum of one year of relevant professional experience is required in administrative, logistical, financial, or operational support for development projects. Experience with an international organization, UN agency, or a project funded by technical and financial partners is an asset. Proficiency in standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) is essential, with knowledge of project management and documentation tools being advantageous.

Technical skills in administration, project management, program development, strategy, finance, and accounting are also relevant for this role.
