It aims to enhance UNDP's positioning, resource mobilization, and global advocacy in these critical areas.
Job Purpose
This role supports the GRP Hub in strengthening its communications, visibility, and digital engagement. The Online Volunteer will translate complex governance, peacebuilding, and development topics into accessible and visually engaging content for platforms like LinkedIn. Key contributions include designing graphics, drafting social media posts, developing templates, and assisting with content planning. This assignment aims to increase the visibility of UNDP's work and knowledge products in the GRP sector, offering valuable experience in strategic communications and knowledge sharing within a global UNDP team.
Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive LinkedIn content engagement and growth strategy for the GRP Hub to enhance visibility, audience growth, and follower engagement. The strategy should outline methods for collaborating with thematic teams to source content, establish a coordinated content pipeline, and ensure balanced representation of diverse teams and thematic areas on the Hub's LinkedIn page. This includes creating engaging visual content, drafting compelling social media posts, developing reusable content templates, and supporting overall content planning and execution to effectively communicate the Hub's impact and initiatives.
Work Experience
Demonstrated experience in communications, public information, digital marketing, journalism, or graphic design is required. Experience managing or supporting organizational social media channels, particularly LinkedIn, is essential. Prior experience in developing communications strategies and content planning is also necessary. Familiarity with international development, governance, peacebuilding, or UN-related topics is considered desirable.
Skills

Proficiency in managing and supporting organizational social media, especially LinkedIn, is crucial. Strong content strategy development and content planning abilities are required.
