Organizational Context

The UNDP Global Programme on Nature for Development integrates three initiatives (Equator Initiative, National Biodiversity Initiative, Global Forest Initiative) to promote nature-based solutions for the 2030 Agenda. It supports sustainable development pathways through conservation, restoration, and ecosystem management, alongside inclusive governance of natural resources. The National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plan (NBSAP) Accelerator Partnership specifically aids countries in implementing NBSAPs to combat biodiversity loss.

Job Purpose

This role supports the optimization of the NBSAP Accelerator Partnership's CRM system, currently on monday.com. The system needs enhancement to better manage multi-partner engagement, track supplier interactions, provide aggregated insights for decision-making, and improve workflows. The current Phase 1 is limited in relational data tracking and actionable insights. Phase 2 will focus on system optimization, relational structuring, and enhanced reporting capabilities to support the scaling of the Partnership's MatchMaking Mechanism, which connects country needs with global partners.

Responsibilities

The Online Volunteer will be responsible for the technical implementation and optimization of the existing CRM system within monday.com, translating the CRM strategy into a functional and scalable solution. Key tasks include system configuration, data structuring, and workflow implementation to ensure the CRM is relational, structured, searchable, and capable of generating aggregated insights for operational and strategic decision-making. Deliverables include an improved CRM structure with a supplier-request engagement tracking system, at least three operational dashboards for tracking supplier engagement, request pipeline, and match progress, and documented system structure with user guidance.

Work Experience

A strong background is required in UX design, HR processes, digital optimization, product management, AI, and/or web design and development. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in developing digital platforms or services. A demonstrated ability to think strategically about UX and user engagement is also a requirement.

The ability to translate strategy into functional systems, configure systems, structure data, and implement workflows is also necessary. Working knowledge of English is required.
