Job Purpose
This online volunteer assignment supports the National Committee for the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development 2026 in Bolivia. The primary goal is to contribute to strengthening the country's volunteer regulatory framework by generating technical inputs and comparative evidence. The volunteer will assist in collecting, organizing, and systematizing normative and documentary information on volunteerism in Bolivia and other Latin American countries. This work is crucial for supporting the process of enacting a new Volunteer Law in Bolivia, aligning with the UN's broader mission.
Responsibilities
The Online Volunteer will support the following activities: Collect and organize information on the normative background of volunteerism in Bolivia. Systematize existing draft laws, initiatives, and documents related to volunteerism. Conduct a comparative review of current volunteer laws in Latin American countries and other relevant international experiences. Identify best practices and common elements that can contribute to strengthening the normative proposal in Bolivia. Prepare comparative charts, matrices, and synthesis documents. Assist in organizing bibliography, regulations, and technical documentation. Prepare brief reports with findings and recommendations.
Work Experience
Required experience includes documentary research and information systematization. Candidates should possess analytical skills for developing comparative documents and excellent writing and information synthesis abilities. Proficiency in office software for creating matrices, databases, and technical documents is also required.
