Online Volunteer for Research and Information Support on Resource Mobilization

Job Purpose
This role supports the UNDP Uzbekistan Inclusive Growth Cluster's efforts in resource mobilization, partnership development, and outreach. The Online Volunteer will contribute to identifying and analyzing potential funding opportunities and donors, aligning them with the cluster's priorities. The assignment aims to strengthen the cluster's capacity to secure resources for promoting inclusive and sustainable growth, employment generation, entrepreneurship, and improved livelihoods in Uzbekistan, ultimately supporting progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
Responsibilities
The Online Volunteer will assist the Inclusive Growth Cluster in Uzbekistan with resource mobilization tasks under the supervision of the Cluster Focal Point. Key responsibilities include researching and analyzing potential donors, development partners, and funding opportunities. The volunteer will review existing program priorities and funding needs, identifying potential areas for cooperation aligned with the cluster's objectives. Additionally, the role involves supporting the drafting and updating of online materials and brief information notes, and consolidating findings into a structured format for internal use. Tasks will be distributed among volunteers.
Work Experience
Previous experience in resource mobilization, partnerships, donor outreach, or development research is required. Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills are essential. The ability to work independently and meet deadlines is crucial. Experience in the non-profit or international development sector is advantageous. Knowledge of economics, sustainable finance, or SDG-related work is a plus.
