The stories will be used for publication on the United Nations in Tunisia's social media platforms, aiming to inspire action and promote the role of individuals in advancing sustainable development.
Responsibilities
The volunteer will be responsible for producing five human-interest stories, each between 600-800 words. This involves conducting research, identifying impactful youth stories, and potentially gathering content through a call for contributions. Each story must clearly present the context, challenge, action taken, and achieved impact, offering inspiration for other Tunisians. Deliverables include 2-3 draft and final versions of the stories, along with a short social media paragraph and call to action for each.
Work Experience
Candidates are required to demonstrate excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills in both French and English. Experience or knowledge related to sustainable development and the United Nations system is considered an asset.

Essential skills include fluency in English and French, excellent writing, proofreading, and editing capabilities. A good understanding of terminology related to sustainable development and the UN system is desirable. The role also requires the ability to conduct research and formulate research questions.
