The role involves identifying and discussing Sustainable Development Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) and its links to other SDGs, analyzing how narratives can highlight innovation, and gathering contextual insights using non-internet-based methods. The assignment focuses on showcasing individual innovation and its potential impact on local communities and the economy within national and international frameworks.
Job Purpose

The volunteer will contribute by researching and identifying impactful youth stories related to SDG 9, and potentially other SDGs, to be published on the UN in Tunisia's social media platforms. Each story will detail a real-world problem, the innovative solution implemented, and its achieved impact, aiming to inspire other Tunisians. The role involves developing research questions, gathering insights, and crafting compelling narratives that highlight individual contributions to sustainable development and the scalability of innovation.
Responsibilities
The volunteer will be responsible for producing five human-interest stories, each between 600-800 words, in Arabic. These stories will be based on independent research and the identification of impactful youth stories, potentially supplemented by content gathered through a call for contributions. The stories are intended for publication on the United Nations in Tunisia's social media platforms. Each narrative must clearly present the context, the challenge faced, the action taken, the impact achieved, and offer inspiration for other Tunisians to foster a ripple effect. Deliverables include 2-3 draft and final versions of each story, along with a concise social media call to action (3-4 sentences).
