Responsibilities
The Online Volunteer will support the Programme Coordination and Partnerships Section (PCCP) in enhancing its training and data management systems through comprehensive research, analysis, and documentation. The assignment encompasses two key areas: IT solution development support and data management analysis. Under the supervision of PCCP staff, the volunteer will be responsible for reviewing existing data collection processes, databases, reporting systems, and workflows, specifically those related to seizure and interception data. This includes mapping key data flows to identify any gaps or inefficiencies within current practices. A crucial duty involves conducting a detailed two-page assessment document, within one month, of PCCP’s current seizure and interception data collection processes, databases, reporting systems, workflows, and overall information management practices. Based on this assessment, the volunteer will provide actionable recommendations for improvements in data governance, reporting, and analytics, ensuring alignment with UN standards. These recommendations will be presented in a five-page report, advising PCCP management on best practices and solutions for optimizing their data collection, management, and reporting systems.
Work Experience
Applicants should possess experience or an academic background in research, data analysis, or systems analysis. A strong understanding of data management, digital systems, or IT solutions is considered a valuable asset for this role.
