The "Madisson: Mi mundo a su medida" film project aims to raise awareness about discrimination faced by people with disabilities, contributing to a more just and inclusive society.

Job Purpose

This role supports the "Madisson: Mi mundo a su medida" film, an interactive and inclusive project designed to sensitize society about discrimination, violence, and exclusion faced by individuals with disabilities, particularly concerning their human, sexual, and reproductive rights. The sound component is crucial for an immersive experience, conveying emotions, strengthening the narrative, and connecting the audience with the film's realities. Volunteers will contribute to creating atmospheres, effects, and compositions that enrich the project, fostering a pioneering cinematic proposal that promotes cultural access and dignified representation for people with disabilities, aligning with UN principles of inclusion and human rights.

Responsibilities

The volunteer will design and create sound elements for the interactive film "Madisson: Mi mundo a su medida," which addresses violence, discrimination, and exclusion faced by people with disabilities. Responsibilities include developing sound ambiance, musical scores, and sound effects for specific film segments, exploring the interplay between image and sound to enhance narrative and immersion. Volunteers are encouraged to experiment with innovative rhythms, atmospheres, soundscapes, and musical resources using accessible digital tools like Suno and BandLab. This collaboration, estimated at two weeks, contributes to a pioneering inclusive cinema initiative promoting cultural access and dignified representation.

Work Experience

Interest in musical composition, sound production, or sound design for audiovisual media. Ability to create sound atmospheres, effects, and musical accompaniment aligned with visual narrative. Basic to intermediate proficiency with audio production and editing tools (e.g., BandLab, Suno, Audacity, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Reaper, Logic Pro). Creativity, willingness to experiment, and ability to work autonomously are essential.

Skills

Creativity, artistic innovation, autonomous work, meeting deadlines, sensitivity to human rights and disability issues, communication, and receptiveness to feedback. Proficiency in audio production/editing software is required. Fluent Spanish language skills are necessary.
