Organizational Context
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is the UN's global development network, advocating for change and connecting countries with knowledge, experience, and resources to improve people's lives. In Tunisia, UNDP focuses on inclusive governance, socio-economic resilience, and climate action, aligning with SDGs and Vision Tunisie 2035. The Green Growth and Job Accelerator Project (GGJAP), implemented with partners, aims to accelerate the growth of SMEs and startups with green transition potential, sustainable business models, and job creation, particularly for youth and women.
Job Purpose
The Green Growth and Job Accelerator Project (GGJAP) in Tunisia, implemented by UNDP in partnership with Flat6Labs and supported by the DAPP, aims to foster green SMEs and startups, promoting sustainable business models and job creation for youth and women. The GGJAP provides structured acceleration, including training, coaching, and investment readiness support. The Associate Project Volunteer will support the GGJAP team during its final implementation, consolidation, and closure phase until 2027. This role ensures continuity, strengthens the team's capacity in coordinating activities, monitoring beneficiaries, organizing events, collecting data, reporting, and documenting lessons learned for successful project completion.
Responsibilities
The Associate Project Volunteer will support the GGJAP team under the supervision of the Project Manager. Key responsibilities include:
**Activity Organization:** Assist in preparing and organizing logistics for training, workshops, coaching sessions, and networking events. Help prepare participant lists, invitations, meeting materials, and feedback forms. Follow up on actions agreed upon during activities.
**Stakeholder Engagement:** Contribute to communication with beneficiaries, partners, and other project stakeholders. Support information sharing and follow up on inquiries. Participate in efforts to enhance engagement with young beneficiaries and project partners.
**Data and Results Monitoring:** Support data collection, entry, and organization related to project activities and beneficiaries. Contribute to verifying the quality and completeness of collected information. Assist in updating databases and tracking tools.
**Documentation and Reporting:** Contribute to preparing presentations, meeting minutes, and other work documents. Support the compilation of information for project reports and updates. Assist in archiving project documentation.
**Knowledge Management:** Contribute to collecting testimonials, feedback, best practices, and results from beneficiaries. Support the documentation of project activities and achievements. Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives related to green entrepreneurship and youth employment.
Work Experience
Minimum 1 month to 1 year of professional experience, internship, or volunteering in project/program support, entrepreneurship, SME development, private sector development, sustainable development, green economy, youth employment, innovation ecosystems, or communication/reporting. Demonstrated interest in inclusive green growth, entrepreneurship, sustainable development, youth/women economic empowerment, and the UN system is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital collaboration tools is essential.
Skills

Expertise in Administration, Project Management, Program Development, Strategy, Finance, and Accounting is desirable.
