Job Purpose
This role supports the Africa Foundational Learning Exchange (FLEX) 2026, a key platform for African countries to exchange knowledge on foundational learning. Hosted by Malawi, the event convenes policymakers and education stakeholders to plan strategies for ending learning poverty by 2035. Responsibilities include attending panel discussions to identify high-level priorities and outcomes, extracting key action points, main recommendations, and critical insights from speakers and participants. Volunteers will produce a polished Key Takeaways Report highlighting actionable outputs. Additionally, they will listen for and transcribe compelling statements, creating a curated Quotations Document organized by speaker and session for post-event communication. All volunteers must produce high-quality English reports, collaborate within teams, and submit final documents electronically. They will also disseminate pre-approved campaign materials across social media to raise awareness about the event's objectives and the importance of foundational learning.
