Job Purpose
This assignment supports the Human Resources Management Section (HRMS) in enhancing staff engagement and organizational effectiveness through clear internal communication. The role focuses on developing and disseminating internal communication materials, promoting HR initiatives, and increasing staff engagement. The Online Volunteer will adapt global HR messages to the local context, ensure branding consistency, and explore innovative communication strategies. The aim is to strengthen internal communication channels, ensuring staff are informed, engaged, and aligned with organizational priorities, ultimately contributing to a more inclusive and effective workplace.
Responsibilities
The Online Volunteer will support inclusive outreach, diversity monitoring, and workplace inclusion initiatives under the guidance of the HR team. Key duties include identifying networks for outreach to underrepresented groups, drafting accessible outreach messages for job openings and internships, and maintaining contact lists. The volunteer will review job postings for inclusive language, assist in monitoring recruitment trends for gender balance and disability representation, and prepare summaries on diversity trends. Additionally, the role involves researching inclusive recruitment practices, developing knowledge products on outreach and diversity, and compiling recommendations for workplace accessibility. The volunteer will also support initiatives promoting disability inclusion awareness and assist in organizing outreach events and awareness campaigns.
