Job Purpose
The UNODC Country Programme 2023-2027 in Bolivia focuses on strengthening institutional capacities to prevent crime and respond to threats related to drugs, organized crime, and corruption. This assignment is crucial for enhancing UNODC's visibility, coherence, and positioning of its interventions. The role will support the dissemination of results, best practices, and lessons learned from technical assistance. Effective communication is vital for donor visibility, accountability, and consolidating UNODC's image as a strategic partner, especially during a government transition. The specialist will ensure strategic communication of ongoing projects and programs, strengthening institutional relations and public understanding of UNODC's work.
Responsibilities
Under the delegated authority and supervision of the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer or their designated representative, the UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks: Contract Management: Manage recruitments, contract renewals, and terminations. This includes ensuring all necessary documentation is processed accurately and in a timely manner. Administrative and Systems Support: Provide comprehensive administrative and documentation support. This involves maintaining organized records, managing HR systems, and ensuring the integrity of personnel data. Onboarding and Lifecycle Support: Facilitate inductions for new personnel and provide ongoing support throughout the employee lifecycle. This ensures smooth integration and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
Work Experience
A minimum of three years of general work experience in human resources is required, with a focus on recruitment, selection, and hiring. Additionally, at least two years of specific experience in updating and maintaining databases, internal personnel management systems, or registration platforms is necessary.

Key competencies include professionalism, integrity, teamwork, respect for diversity, commitment to continuous learning, planning and organization, and strong communication skills. Expertise in Human Resources is essential.
