Public Partnership and Knowledge Management Specialist (UNICEF Accelerate)

UNICEF is mandated by the UN General Assembly to advocate for children's rights and their well-being globally. In Viet Nam, UNICEF works to ensure every child reaches their full potential. This role is within the Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Public Partnership team, which is crucial for quality assurance, coordination, and facilitating high-quality interventions. The team also serves as the focal point for public partnerships and resource management, essential for delivering scaled and sustainable results for children in a middle-income, decentralized context.
Job Purpose
This assignment aims to enhance skills in data collection, analysis, and knowledge management, utilizing innovative digital and AI approaches. The role will focus on strengthening public partnerships to increase income and influence for children's welfare in Viet Nam. As a key member of the UNICEF Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Public Partnership team, the incumbent will contribute to quality assurance, coordination, and facilitation of UNICEF's interventions. The position is vital for leveraging data, knowledge, and digital innovation to achieve sustainable, equitable, and scalable impact for all children, and for mobilizing resources through strategic public sector engagement to drive policy change and systems strengthening.
Responsibilities
The UNV will support data and knowledge management by contributing to data collection and analysis for project outcomes, developing an internal evidence library with case studies and reports, and assisting in the creation of knowledge platforms and communication materials. Responsibilities also include documenting lessons learned and promising practices. In public partnerships, the UNV will analyze trends, map opportunities, and develop/maintain briefing notes and partner profiles for senior management engagement. The role involves regular check-ins with sector teams to gather proposal updates, compile and validate pipeline information, and prepare monthly pipeline summaries. Additionally, the UNV will contribute to fundraising proposals, donor reports, visibility materials, and data collection/analysis for the new Country Programme.
Work Experience
Requires 3 years of relevant experience. Experience and interest in international development, data management, communications, non-profits, or information management is advantageous. Proficiency in Excel, document formatting, digital/AI tools for data visualization, and knowledge management is desirable. Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, coordination, and organizational skills are essential.
