Responsibilities
The Online Volunteer will draft, edit, and proofread editorial content for UNV's digital platforms, including articles, success stories, and social media copy. This content will focus on highlighting the impact of UN Volunteers and key regional initiatives, ensuring alignment with UNV’s strategic messaging and editorial standards. The role aims to amplify youth voices, showcase UN Volunteer stories globally, and build connections within the UNV network in Latin America and the Caribbean. The volunteer will enhance their storytelling, writing, and community engagement skills, with contributions featured on UNV's digital platforms.
Work Experience
Strong writing skills are required, with the ability to craft compelling, first-person narratives. Previous experience in storytelling, journalism, or content creation is considered an asset. A deep understanding of the cultural, social, and political context of Latin America and the Caribbean is also beneficial.
