Job Purpose

Responsibilities
The Communications Associate will support the execution of UNFPA Bihar's communication and media strategy. Key duties include developing programmatic communication materials such as brochures, fact sheets, and posters, as well as creating innovative materials like training toolkits and BCC modules for community engagement. The role involves documenting flagship programmes into compelling products like success stories and case studies. Responsibilities also include assisting with proofreading and editing reports, developing content for talking points, and supporting the coordination of events and campaigns to highlight UNFPA's work. Liaising with the Communications and Media Unit for media workshops, press releases, and social media reporting is crucial.
Work Experience
A minimum of three years of relevant work experience in digital and social media, communications, and/or public relations is required. Experience with leading social media platforms, conceptualizing communication materials, and proficiency in English and Hindi are essential. Familiarity with design tools like Canva is expected, with Adobe Creative Suite being desirable.
