Job Purpose
The Economic and Social Policy (ESP) Global Practice of UNICEF seeks an online volunteer with graphic design and visual communication expertise to enhance the visibility of its work on care and support systems. This role will contribute to developing public-facing materials that effectively communicate UNICEF's initiatives and upcoming plans related to care and support, particularly in preparation for the 2028 International Year of Care and Support. The objective is to create compelling visual documents that illustrate ongoing and planned efforts, key global moments, and strategic processes, thereby supporting advocacy and broader dissemination of UNICEF's commitment to children's wellbeing and inclusive development.
Responsibilities
The online volunteer will be responsible for developing two distinct visual graphic documents. These documents will illustrate UNICEF's current and future efforts concerning care and support systems, aligning with the lead-up to the 2028 International Year of Care and Support. The materials should effectively outline significant global milestones, forthcoming products, and essential processes related to this agenda. The primary goal is to present a comprehensive and visually engaging picture of UNICEF's work in this domain, suitable for advocacy purposes and to communicate key information to a wide range of audiences. This involves leveraging strong graphic design and visual storytelling skills to translate complex information into accessible and impactful public-facing materials.
Work Experience
Candidates must possess professional experience in graphic design, encompassing document layout and visual communication. Proficiency in relevant graphic design applications is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are also required.
