Digital Learning Pilot Facilitator
Organizational Context

Job Purpose
This UN Volunteer position aims to facilitate a pilot project in a Chilean school focused on the pedagogical integration of digital tools, drawing lessons from the South Korean education technology model. The role involves adapting selected elements to the local context, prioritizing teacher empowerment, improved education management, and responsible digital tool usage. The volunteer will work closely with local education stakeholders, including teachers and school leadership, to build capacity and document lessons learned. This initiative seeks to strengthen school-level capacities, promote South-South knowledge exchange, and advance a gradual, inclusive, and sustainable approach to educational digital transformation.
Responsibilities
The UN Volunteer will support a school-level pilot project focused on enhancing the practical and pedagogical use of digital tools, adapting South Korean educational technology concepts to the Chilean context. Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with teachers and school leadership to build their capacity and confidence in utilizing digital tools for teaching and school management, ensuring a teacher-centered learning approach. Additionally, the volunteer will be responsible for documenting lessons learned and best practices emerging from the pilot, contributing to institutional knowledge and informing potential future replication or scaling efforts. A work plan will be developed collaboratively with the supervisor within the first month.
Work Experience
Requires 1 month of relevant experience. Demonstrated interest or experience (up to 3 years) in education digital transformation projects, teacher training, digital learning tools, pilot implementation, or working with public education systems is desirable. Skills in pedagogical sensitivity, applied digital education, facilitation, communication, and documenting lessons learned are essential.
