Job Purpose
This role contributes to improving the nutritional status of individuals affected by Tuberculosis (PAT) by providing a basic food basket, educational activities, and nutritional assessments to support their comprehensive recovery. The objective is to deliver timely and varied food assistance through a food card mechanism, coupled with nutritional guidance and communication for appropriate use. The intervention aims to empower users to make smart purchasing decisions, ensuring access to healthy products and supporting their recovery process. Tele-orientation calls will guide users on efficient resource utilization and informed food choices, reinforcing nutritional counseling.
Responsibilities
The Online Volunteer will conduct tele-orientation calls for individuals assisted by WFP's intervention. Key duties include participating in training sessions on project frameworks, nutritional content, and activity flows. Volunteers will ensure the quality of telephone guidance, maintaining respectful and dignified interactions. Responsibilities also involve registering information in the MoDa platform according to WFP team guidelines, reporting situations and incidents, and safeguarding personal data and confidentiality in compliance with WFP's protection policies. The role requires adherence to WFP's data protection and privacy standards.
Work Experience
While not strictly required, prior experience in tele-orientation is desirable. The role necessitates knowledge in nutrition/health and experience in database management. Candidates must have access to a computer, a phone line for calls in Peru, and reliable internet connection. The assignment is for 4 weeks, requiring 11-15 hours per week.
