Job Purpose
This role supports the finalization of four project reports by enhancing their visual design and layout. The objective is to ensure these knowledge products meet high quality standards and effectively communicate the impact of UNDP's governance initiatives in Mozambique. The volunteer will improve the visual presentation, readability, and overall consistency of the reports, making them suitable for sharing with donors, partners, and stakeholders. This contribution is crucial for effectively disseminating project outcomes and lessons learned from decentralization and SDG localization efforts.
Responsibilities
The Online Volunteer will enhance the graphic design and layout of four finalized project reports under the supervision of the Strategic Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation Analyst and in coordination with the Communications team. Key duties include reviewing existing reports, improving layout, formatting, and visual structure to enhance readability and visual hierarchy. The volunteer will strengthen the visual presentation of key sections, ensure design consistency across all reports, and integrate provided logos and visual elements. The final output will be print-ready and digital-friendly versions of the reports. Content development is not required; the focus is solely on design and formatting improvements.
Work Experience
Professional experience in graphic design and document layout, particularly for reports or publications, is required. Candidates must possess in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications. Good verbal and written communication skills are also necessary.

Proficiency in graphic design applications, document layout, and visual presentation. Strong understanding of typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy. Ability to ensure design consistency and integrate visual elements. Good verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of Portuguese and English is required.
