The Mexican Association of Psychology and Community Development is dedicated to the professional growth of individuals, particularly vulnerable groups, through projects focused on mental health with a gender perspective. Their mission involves executing community development actions from a psychological standpoint, proposing creative solutions to clinical and community issues, and promoting human rights and gender equality. They also provide services for mental health and reproductive health, and support victims of violence.

Job Purpose

The Association seeks an Online Volunteer specializing in social media visual content to enhance its mental health awareness campaign. The volunteer will create engaging multimedia content, including animated videos and graphics, for social media and the web. This role aims to increase the quality and quantity of visual content, thereby improving interaction and message reach. The volunteer will also design a graphic identity manual to ensure consistent and professional communication, contributing to the association's credibility and outreach efforts in promoting mental well-being.

Responsibilities

The Online Volunteer will collaborate with the communication manager and psychologists to create engaging multimedia content. Key responsibilities include designing 12 reels (30-60 seconds each) using Canva with provided scripts for weekly publication on Facebook and Instagram, and for specific events. The volunteer will also develop dynamic digital presentations and a template folder in Canva for future content creation. Additionally, they will conceptualize and produce simple motion graphics, reels, and stories for social media platforms, focusing on mental health topics and the association's services. A crucial task is designing a Graphic Identity Manual in Canva, including a brand kit, to ensure consistent visual communication and enhance the association's professional image.

Work Experience

A minimum of one year of professional experience in multimedia design is required. Proficiency in 2D animation, utilizing pre-designed 3D elements in Canva (icons, objects, mockups), applying depth effects (shadows, gradients, layers), creating 3D-style text (emboss, shadow, simple perspective), and generating animations that create a sense of volume is essential. Experience in interactive interface design, audio/video editing, and maintaining visual coherence is also necessary.

Skills

Proficiency in multimedia design, 2D animation, and utilizing Canva for creating visual content, including 3D elements and effects. Skills in interactive interface design, audio/video editing, and maintaining visual coherence are required. Strong verbal and written communication abilities are also important. Creativity and the ability to propose innovative ideas for animated content are valued.
