International Organization for Migration Caribbean
Graphic Design of SOP for Disaster Displacement Data Collection
Organizational Context
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) supports governments and migrants by ensuring safe, responsible, and dignified migration management. In the Caribbean, migration is integral to the region's identity and development, but faces challenges from climate change and demographic shifts. Small island developing states are particularly vulnerable to climate-related disasters and displacement. Migration can enhance resilience and governance, but labor gaps due to outward migration also present challenges.
Job Purpose

The SOP was created following a regional workshop to ensure consistent data collection across stakeholders. The graphic design will make the document more user-friendly and visually engaging, supporting its effective uptake and implementation by various partners. The objective is to produce a practical and attractive SOP that aids in standardized data collection efforts.
Responsibilities
The Online Volunteer will be responsible for the graphic design and layout of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) document. Key duties include developing a clean, user-friendly layout, incorporating visuals like icons, infographics, and charts to illustrate processes, and ensuring the design aligns with IOM branding guidelines. The volunteer must ensure the document is accessible for both digital and print dissemination and produce final high-resolution files in PDF and editable formats. The overall objective is to create a visually engaging and practical SOP that facilitates consistent data collection across the Caribbean region.

Proven experience in graphic design and document layout is required. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or Canva is essential.
