Organizational Context

The Ibero-American Program for the Strengthening of South-South Cooperation (PIFCSS) is an intergovernmental initiative promoting knowledge exchange and best practices among 21 Ibero-American countries. Established in 2008, it operates through an Intergovernmental Council, Executive Committee, and a Technical Unit. Since February 2026, Uruguay hosts the Technical Unit and presides over the Program, focusing on strengthening South-South and Triangular Cooperation. The "Ciclos Virtuales RizomaSur" initiative, launched in June 2026, serves as a virtual platform for learning and exchange.

Job Purpose

This role supports the "Ciclos Virtuales RizomaSur" initiative by providing audiovisual animation and video editing services for webinars. The volunteer will work with materials, scripts, and guidance provided by the PIFCSS Technical Unit, which will also oversee creative direction. The assignment aims to enhance the quality and engagement of webinar content, contributing to the PIFCSS's goal of fostering a regional learning community. By producing polished video content, the volunteer will help strengthen capacities, expand networks, and generate new cooperation opportunities within the framework of South-South and Triangular Cooperation.

Responsibilities

Create audiovisual animations and edit videos for the PIFCSS "Ciclos Virtuales RizomaSur" webinars. Utilize provided webinar materials, scripts, and indications from the PIFCSS Technical Unit. Receive creative direction and follow-up from the Technical Unit. Ensure all video content is professionally produced and aligned with the initiative's objectives. This includes applying animation techniques and editing skills to enhance the clarity and impact of webinar presentations. The volunteer will contribute to the overall quality of the virtual learning environment, supporting the exchange of experiences, mutual learning, and collective reflection among Ibero-American countries and other stakeholders involved in South-South and Triangular Cooperation.

Work Experience

Required: Professional experience in video animation and editing. Proficiency in editing software such as Capcut, Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Pro. Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Illustrator is also required. Demonstrated creativity and attention to detail are essential.
