Organizational Context

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is the UN's sexual and reproductive health agency, dedicated to a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe, and every young person's potential is fulfilled. The UNFPA is developing the TICTACADOS mobile application, which offers digitized reproductive health services including information, teleconsultation, and referrals to physical services. A clear operational framework is essential to define user pathways and ensure service quality.

Job Purpose

This role contributes to the development of the TICTACADOS mobile application by defining the minimum package of digitized sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services and establishing operational protocols. The objective is to ensure structured and secure access to SRH services for adolescents and youth. The volunteer will play a key role in designing user journeys, from initial chatbot interaction to human consultation and referral to physical services, ensuring alignment with national and international standards and integrating community-based services into the continuum of care.

Responsibilities

The Volunteer will contribute to defining the minimum package of digitized SRH services and operational protocols for the TICTACADOS application, ensuring structured and secure access for adolescents and youth. Key responsibilities include: - Defining the minimum package of digitized SRH services. - Developing protocols for teleconsultation and tele-counseling. - Structuring user pathways, including chatbot interactions, human consultations, and referrals to physical services. - Specifying the levels of SRH services offered (information, counseling, consultation, referral). - Harmonizing protocols with national and international standards. - Integrating community-based services into the continuum of care.

Work Experience

Required experience includes a background in adolescent and youth reproductive health (AYRH), familiarity with telemedicine or digital health, and experience in developing clinical protocols or guidelines.

Skills

The role requires expertise in adolescent and youth reproductive health, knowledge of telemedicine or digital health solutions, and experience in developing clinical protocols or guidelines. Proficiency in French is desirable.
