This role supports WOPA's marketing strategy by developing a quarterly newsletter. The volunteer will provide initial concepts and incorporate feedback through revisions, contributing to the organization's communication efforts and outreach.
Responsibilities
The Online Volunteer will support the organization's program team in creating a quarterly newsletter. Key responsibilities include designing engaging and easily digestible content that promotes monthly activities and highlights organizational features and benefits. The volunteer must adhere to a professional and corporate aesthetic aligned with WOPA's work. This involves translating information into compelling visual stories, applying strong typography and layout design skills, and understanding print design best practices. The role requires proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) and experience in creating professional marketing materials. The volunteer will present initial concepts and implement revisions based on feedback, ensuring both quality and efficiency in delivery.
