For World No Tobacco Day 2026, UNV Benin is collaborating with WHO and the Ministry of Health to launch the "Generation Sans Tabac" digital campaign.
Job Purpose
This assignment supports the "Generation Sans Tabac" digital campaign, coinciding with World No Tobacco Day 2026. The campaign aims to raise awareness among youth about the dangers of all tobacco products, including e-cigarettes and heated tobacco products. It promotes healthy behaviors and encourages strong civic engagement for a tobacco-free environment. The initiative seeks to create a national digital movement using the hashtag #229SansTabac, mobilizing 200 Online Volunteers as campaign ambassadors on social media and within their communities.
Responsibilities
Online Volunteers will act as campaign ambassadors, working under the coordination of the campaign management team. Key responsibilities include publishing and sharing official campaign content across their social media networks. They will engage with campaign posts by commenting, sharing, and reacting to increase visibility. Volunteers are expected to invite their networks to follow and support the campaign. Additionally, they will participate in a sensitization webinar organized as part of the initiative, contributing to the campaign's reach and impact.
Work Experience
Required experience includes having an active account on at least two social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok). A demonstrated interest in public health, youth issues, or community development is also required. Volunteers must be available for the duration of the campaign and exhibit dynamism, commitment, and ethical conduct in their online communications.
