Job Purpose
The Business Intelligence Assistant will support the Brazil Office Individual Giving Program by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of donor data. This involves daily updates to the UNICEF database, managing operational processes for donor acquisition and care, and performing quality control on information within CRM and other systems. The role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of donation processes, reconciling financial transactions, and providing reliable data for analysis and decision-making, ultimately contributing to UNICEF's fundraising efforts and its mission to protect children's rights.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Fundraising Specialist, the UN Volunteer will be responsible for data validation and quality control, and analysis of campaign results. Key duties include daily updates to the UNICEF database with donor personal and financial data, managing operational processes for donor care and acquisition campaigns, and performing quality checks on CRM (Salesforce) and other system information. The role involves contacting suppliers and telemarketing agencies for data validation and reconciliation, verifying changes on PSP platforms, and monitoring priority cases and incidents related to donors and campaigns. Additionally, the volunteer will support the development of data management tools, prepare reports for decision-making, document processes, and perform other related tasks as required by the Business Intelligence team.
Work Experience
Requires 3 years of relevant experience, including 3 years working with CRM/databases and a minimum of 2 years in data analysis, validation, and quality control. Proficiency in SQL for queries and Power Query is necessary, along with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Desirable experience includes Salesforce, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), and knowledge of Payment Gateways, payment processing, and API calls.
