Job Purpose
The Human Resources Assistant (Data and Operations Support) will provide crucial data support within UNICEF's People & Culture (P&C) team, specifically contributing to the development and maintenance of reporting tools and dashboards. The role involves analyzing HR data to generate actionable insights, supporting the creation of robust data frameworks for workforce planning, and monitoring organizational culture survey results. Additionally, the incumbent will assist in rolling out key P&C initiatives, manage HR datasets for planning and benchmarking, and produce regular reports on key performance indicators. Responsibilities
The Human Resources Assistant will provide specialized data support to the People & Culture (P&C) team. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and online reporting tools, analyzing data to generate insights, and supporting the creation and monitoring of reporting frameworks to improve HR efficiency. The role also involves contributing to workforce planning through robust data frameworks, monitoring organizational culture survey results, and supporting the rollout of P&C initiatives. Additionally, the assistant will manage and update HR datasets for workforce planning and benchmarking, produce regular reports and KPIs (e.g., gender and geographical balance), and assist in standardizing reporting for attendance, payroll, and contract management. The position also entails compiling and analyzing data related to post structures and staffing, and contributing to supply function rotation exercises.
Work Experience
A minimum of 3 years of overall professional experience is required, with at least 2 years of relevant experience at the national or international level. This includes solid data and analytical skills, experience with data analysis and visualization tools like Excel and Microsoft Power BI, accuracy in document production, and the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and progressive environment are also essential.
