Job Purpose
This UN Volunteer assignment in the People and Culture (P&C) area of UNICEF in Bogotá is crucial for advancing the organization's mission. Responsibilities
Support the People and Culture (P&C) strategy by assisting in the implementation of initiatives across talent attraction, learning and development, culture and engagement, and operational excellence. Assist in talent attraction by preparing and disseminating job openings, proposing inclusive outreach actions for underrepresented groups, and communicating with candidates. Support P&C processes, including onboarding and offboarding, initiating personnel actions according to UNICEF regulations, and guiding internal clients on P&C procedures. Design visual materials for policy communication and assist users with P&C systems. Aid in learning, development, and well-being activities by organizing courses and events, supporting the performance management cycle, tracking mandatory training, and facilitating work-life balance initiatives. Provide general administrative support, including managing vendor contracts, standardizing formats, coordinating team travel, managing visibility material inventory, updating databases, generating reports, and processing payments.
Work Experience
Requires 1 month of experience in administrative support roles within human resources, operations, projects, or general administrative areas. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, plan and organize multiple tasks, and a client-oriented approach with attention to detail are necessary.
