Job Purpose
This role is crucial for strengthening donor engagement, long-term relationships, and donor value to ensure the sustainability and growth of UNICEF Colombia's donor base. The Volunteer will design, coordinate, and execute marketing content and campaigns for donor retention initiatives, ensuring a cohesive and integrated experience across all touchpoints and channels. The objective is to enhance engagement, reduce churn, and maximize donor contributions throughout their relationship with UNICEF, supporting the strategic goals of the 2026 Retention Plan.
Responsibilities
The Volunteer will support the implementation and monitoring of the donor retention, loyalty, and engagement strategy. Key responsibilities include designing and executing omni-channel marketing campaigns and content for retention initiatives, leading communication journeys across the donor lifecycle (welcome, nurturing, care, upgrade, appeals, reactivation), and ensuring narrative and experiential consistency across channels like email, telemarketing, WhatsApp, SMS, social media, and the donor portal. The role involves implementing differentiated strategies for new and long-term donors, coordinating campaigns with internal teams and external vendors, and analyzing CRM and analytics data to understand donor behavior and personalize communications. The Volunteer will also identify improvement opportunities, monitor campaign performance using key indicators, and prepare regular reports on results and learnings.
Work Experience
A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is required. This includes at least 4 years in digital marketing focused on retention, loyalty, engagement, and donor relationship management. Experience in designing, executing, and optimizing omni-channel campaigns (email, WhatsApp, SMS, telemarketing, social media, digital platforms) is essential. Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation platforms, data analytics tools (Google Analytics, Excel), and content creation for diverse audiences is also necessary.
