Job Purpose
This assignment aims to bolster resource mobilization efforts to enhance the capacity of Purewish Junior School in Northern Uganda to deliver quality education. Responsibilities
The volunteer will support structured resource mobilization strategies, partnership development, and awareness-building initiatives for Purewish Foundation Uganda. Key duties include identifying and cultivating partnerships, developing resource mobilization materials such as proposals and concept notes, and engaging stakeholders to build support. The role involves strong communication and advocacy, both written and verbal, to articulate the foundation's needs and impact. Strategic thinking and problem-solving are essential for identifying opportunities and overcoming challenges. The volunteer will conduct basic research, analyze information, and develop presentations, briefs, and outreach materials. Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and Google Docs, is required. Experience in education, community development, humanitarian work, or supporting NGOs/schools is beneficial, as is experience in fundraising strategy, partnership building, communications, marketing, or project planning. Working with vulnerable children or underserved communities is desirable.
