Job Purpose
This assignment aims to strengthen UNICEF Jordan's ICT section by providing responsive technical support and promoting the adoption of modern digital workplace tools. The UN Volunteer will support helpdesk operations, user assistance, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint services, cloud systems, Power Platform automation, and Power BI reporting. The role combines hands-on ICT support with digital enablement to enhance service quality, reduce downtime, boost staff productivity, improve knowledge sharing, and streamline internal processes through practical digital solutions, ultimately contributing to more efficient office operations and program delivery.
Responsibilities
Provide first- and second-level ICT support, managing service requests and escalating technical issues. Support users with ICT equipment, applications, connectivity, and collaboration tools, while maintaining accurate support records. Administer and promote the effective use of Microsoft 365 services, including Teams and SharePoint, and assist in designing and maintaining internal digital workplace platforms. Support user access and basic administration for cloud systems, Azure/Entra ID, and corporate platforms, ensuring reliable access and supporting testing. Develop, test, and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and internal process automation tools, documenting solutions and contributing to digital innovation. Support the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports for operational monitoring and data-informed decision-making. Provide technical support for virtual, hybrid, and in-person meetings, troubleshooting conferencing and audiovisual technologies.
Work Experience
Requires at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in ICT support, helpdesk operations, digital workplace support, or related functions. Experience supporting end-users in a professional environment, with good knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, is essential. Experience with Power Platform, Power BI, cloud administration, and supporting virtual meetings is desirable. Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
