Currently, UNICEF is enhancing its staff wellbeing training materials for an upcoming global initiative.
Job Purpose
This role supports UNICEF's HQ Staff Wellbeing Team by enhancing the design and quality of written materials, including publications and training documents. The Online Volunteer will contribute to the development of clear, user-friendly, and fit-for-purpose wellbeing documents and tools. The assignment involves designing up to 10 documents, ensuring compliance with UNICEF branding rules and translating complex development content into visually compelling formats. The goal is to improve the effectiveness and accessibility of staff wellbeing resources for a global initiative.
Responsibilities
The Online Volunteer will support the UNICEF HQ Staff Wellbeing Team in improving written materials. Key tasks include reviewing and ensuring compliance with UNICEF branding rules and guidelines. The volunteer will analyze existing materials from the Staff Wellbeing Team to identify core messages and content. A primary responsibility is to design, draft, and develop clear, user-friendly wellbeing documents and relevant tools. This includes creating common e-pages and resources across various wellbeing areas. The expected workload involves designing up to 10 documents, ensuring they are fit-for-purpose and visually engaging.
Work Experience
Required experience includes strong skills in graphic design and publication layout, with a proven track record in designing reports, publications, or similar editorial products. Proficiency in design software such as Canva, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or equivalent is essential. The ability to translate complex development content into clear, engaging, and visually compelling formats while adhering to branding guidelines is also required.
