Organizational Context
UNFPA is the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency, dedicated to achieving universal access to sexual and reproductive health, reproductive rights, and reducing maternal mortality. UNFPA focuses on three transformative results: ending unmet need for family planning, ending preventable maternal death, and ending gender-based violence. Innovation is key to UNFPA's strategy, especially for reaching underserved populations and leveraging technology. UNFPA Egypt is currently developing a comprehensive Youth Portfolio Report.
Job Purpose
The UNFPA Egypt Country Office is developing a flagship Youth Portfolio Report, a 40-page document detailing over two decades of youth-led and community-based engagement. This report requires a strong visual approach to effectively present complex narrative content, data, systems, and impact evidence in a clear, engaging, and accessible manner. The selected online volunteer will play a crucial role in translating this intricate information into visually compelling layouts, infographics, and cohesive design systems. The aim is to ensure the report is not only informative but also maintains UNFPA's branding guidelines while adopting a dynamic and youth-friendly identity.

This involves translating complex narrative content, data, and evidence into visually compelling layouts and infographics. The volunteer will develop design systems to ensure consistency throughout the report. A key aspect of the role is to maintain UNFPA's corporate branding while infusing a dynamic and youth-friendly aesthetic. The volunteer will be expected to collaborate effectively, manage their workload to meet deadlines, and contribute creatively to the overall visual appeal and accessibility of the report.
