Job Purpose
This assignment seeks an Online Volunteer to support UNODC Afghanistan's Communications Unit in increasing the agency's visibility and outreach through video production. The volunteer will contribute to raising awareness and showcasing UNODC's impactful work across the country. The role involves producing engaging motion graphic videos that introduce UNODC and its crucial activities in Afghanistan, thereby enhancing the agency's communication efforts and public engagement.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the UNODC Communications Unit, the Online Volunteer will produce two short, motion-graphic-enhanced elevator pitch videos introducing UNODC and its work in Afghanistan. The volunteer will utilize provided footage and source additional clips from free licensed platforms, adhering to all corporate branding guidelines. All produced materials will be considered the intellectual property of UNODC Afghanistan. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate UNODC's mission visually.
Work Experience
Candidates should possess full experience with Adobe After Effects or similar motion graphic tools, and proficiency in video production software like Premiere Pro or Canva. Experience in drafting video scripts and stories is also required. A passion for visual communication and the ability to implement corporate branding guidelines are essential.
